  O Lord, enable us each day to reveal your glory in all we think and say and do; that your presence may bless and strengthen us all the day long, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you, Father, for each new each day. We do not know what the day will contain it is unknown. We only know ourselves and the problems and possibilities of our character.

Help us to be friendly and kind to one another and to others whom we meet. Help us to curb our impatience and the unkind words which may come to our lips, if we have to face danger or make decisions which are difficult, give us courage to do what we know to be right. Help us to look for opportunities of service wherever we may be and help us to remember that everything we do can be offered to you as an act of worship. So may we not be ashamed when the day is over, for Christ’s sake.    Amen.

Fill us, O Lord, with the Holy Spirit, that we may go forth with eagerness and joy to love and serve you in holiness and to do your perfect will, through Jesus Christ our Lord.     Amen.
